Professor Jehu Onyekwere Nnaji hails from Amurri in Nkanu West Local Government Area of Enugu State and was born in Enugu into the family of Mr Godswill Okafor Nnaji and Mrs Grace Onyenweaku Nnaji.His paternal grandfather whose name was ‘Nnajichukwuanu’ was the village head in Umuedum Amurri and lived up to 125 years.His grandfather bequeathed the title ‘Nnajichukwuanu’ on Prof Jehu as his first grandson in the legendary Nnajichukwuanu family lineage.
EDUCATION
Prof. Nnaji attended Green Street Primary School Aba and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1980.He also attended Wilcox Memorial Comprehensive Secondary School and Federal School of Arts and Science both in Aba for his West African School Certificate and General Certificate of Education respectively.
He proceeded to the University of Benin,Benin City,Nigeria and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Economics.Thereafter,he attended the Rivers State University of Science and Technology for a Law Degree and obtained a Master’s degree in Law and Diplomacy. He also obtained a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Rivers State University.
Professor Nnaji obtained a PhD Degree in Comparative Constitutional Law from the University of Naples II,Italy and also received a PhD in Constitutional and International Law from the University of Kansas,USA.
CAREER AND APPOINTMENTS
Judge of the International Criminal Court-Moot Court (ICCMCC), sitting at The Hague,Netherlands(2017-Date) in collaboration with the International Bar Association,London, UK.
Candidate for Vice Chancellor of Enugu State University in 2015
Senatorial Candidate for Enugu East Senate in the 2019 General Elections of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Here in Nigeria,Professor Jehu has assisted students with several forms of scholarship valued over 50 million naira at Primary,Secondary and Tertiary levels which include but not limited to books and cash awards.During the lockdown occasioned by the COVID-19 Pandemic,he has also given out various forms of Palliatives in food and cash to the needy ones in the communities worth several millions of naira.

Prof Jehu Onyekwere Nnaji empowered the Communities by bringing and supervising projects at both onshore and offshore communities on behalf of Shell Petroleum Development Company.
